Exploring Cholqthet and Pi:txel trails

  1. Lisa, There are so many beautiful trails in British Columbia! You mentioned mushrooms in your video. This reminded me of a hike I went on last year. For the first time, I saw tree fungus. I was amazed by the vibrant colours and the mushroom like texture. Then I went home and googled it and found that tree fungus is unhealthy and kills trees. That was a downer, but the upside, is I have become more observant on my hikes.

  2. I've been noticing tons of little mushrooms on my walks recently too! I love all the different mosses and lichen on the trails as well they are so bright to the point where they almost have a glow to them! I think they must be in full bloom right now. Exploring new trails is always fun and even if they aren't what you thought at least you tried something new and now you know.
Great video, you sounded comfortable and everything about it was very clear.
Look forward to seeing more posts!

  3. Hi Lisa,

Great video. It's concise and gives me a very good idea of what the trail is like. You managed to capitalize on such a beautiful day for your hike! Also, your dog is adorable. I'm currently trying to adopt one but it's a difficult process. I can't wait until I can take George/Ray on hikes with me :)

PS I definitely recognize Gilcuddy's music in the royalty free catalogues, haha!
